The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services make available a locator tool for finding information about those currently incarcerated at the Division of Correction facilities, Patuxent Institution or the Division of Pretrial and Detention Services facilities. Be aware: This service does not provide information on everyone in the custody of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Search by name (last name only is permitted) to find full name, date of birth, holding facility and location contact information.
Maryland (VINELink)
Intended to provide information about an offender's custody status, VINELink enables searching the records of specific Maryland entities. Select the facility (Department of Corrections, specific county, statewide) you want to search and then enter a name or social security number. You can also limit a query by date of birth or age range. The information provided includes the name of the offender, his/her date of birth, custody status, holding facility and more. Victims may opt to register their names for notification when the individual's status changes.
